Build a reading routine around Ghanaian news, official reports and strong international practice. Reverse-engineer effective statements and campaigns: identify audience, objective, evidence and likely approval path. Keep a learning log of feedback and decisions.
Seek small stretches at work: draft a briefing note, observe a stakeholder meeting, support a media interview or analyse campaign results. Ask for specific feedback such as whether the lead was clear or the recommendation was defensible. Share credit and teach back what you learn.
Professional networks are strongest when participation is consistent. Attend events with two questions prepared, follow up thoughtfully and contribute useful information. Career growth becomes visible when new knowledge changes the quality of decisions, not when certificates simply accumulate.
